Hi, Im a malaysian and would like to buy iphone 3g in SG, as i was told its officially unlocked version.

1. can one buy iphone 3g w/o any contract, how much would that be
2. where to buy it in SG (chainstore or SG shop), preferably near the train station arriving from KL:)

most are selling ard $1300. you can't buy 1 without signing a mobile contract.

certain phone companies do this practise.. iphone is known for its obsessive ownership (though you purchased it, they control what you can or cannot do / install).

perhaps its another way to make more money for iphone company
