Where to stay in Taipei (Free & Easy)?

This will be my first trip to Taipei.
Planning on going free and easy.
This trip is basically for a gastronomical experience.
Any suggestions for accommodations between a budget of $120 to $150 a night?
Is breakfast included normally or should i opt for no breakfast?

recommend rainbow hotel at ximending.. less than $100 a nite for 2.. :)

TA SHUN in XMT , my recommendation after reading from TA forums..
good location and clean.. LCD TV etc.. but a bit cramp just nice for 2 person

Rainbow Hotel or TS Hotel in XMD are quite popular with locals going to Taipei and I am sure that they are within your budget.

A major plus is that they are very accessible by MRT, thus making travel around Taipei very convenient.

You can choose Kilin Hotel. (Near Hua Xi Night market and a walking distance to XMD also)
Cheaper and bigger than Rainbow. Heard that Rainbow hotel service isn't really that good and you might lost things inside though. =/

I tried staying in Kilin and it isnt that bad.
