What about NOD32? It's still my favourite so not keen to try others.

So how the Ver 4 beta performace... ;)
Pretty good. Memory footprint a bit bigger but they managed to squeeze in more functionality.

Been using Kaspersky since their release of version 6.
So far, I have only gotten a worm, which KIS got rid of it after its hourly updates.

I am into Vipre now... very good... able to detect few trojans that McAfee & KIS missed... the Deep scan able to detect one illegal reg that NOD32 missed...
;)...

Vipre? Never heard of that brand. NOD32 is seriously good, but expensive.

Worth every cent to me so far. It doesn't come with an irritating virus scanner, and does the job good enough for me.

Vipre? Never heard of that brand. NOD32 is seriously good, but expensive.A new product in AV but an old and estalish player in anti-spam & anti-spyware...
Giant Antispyware was collaborated with Sunbealt Counterspy, but Giant was sold to MS (now intergrated with MS OS product but will "disarm" in future)... Sunbelt carry on its development... inviting founder from spywarror to lead, lately they invited another gem from AV world to develope the AV product.
The expert is the one behind NOD32, helping Eset to develope NOD32 ver 1 to 2.5, he moved back to f-prot (the poineer of AV) to revived f-prot... in fact he lead the Comodo team in india to develope some of the security software... He is now the Chief of Vipre...
With these two pro, Sunbelt mean business... and is showing something promising, even the current Counterspy 3.5 is improving.
