This sale thread is migrated from my previous case-kit package thread... It is an on-going sale open for complete barebone SFF system only. For buyers interested in the case package alone, pls refer back to the old thread... Price varies with specs and functionality of the SFF system... Thx all for the support in the past!

Good qn bro... The E2180 is cater for budget concious buyers. The external drive is cheaper than the E700's... U can have it internally mounted too when u don't want it external :)

Yes. It does allow over clocking, but don't do it too much because it is still in a SFF case.

Down-played the system to 1G ram (256 shared on IGP) / 2.1Ghz AM2 4000+.... The 780G is still rock solid at the Graphic department!... Upgrade patch for PDVD7.3 plays an important part for optimal Hi-def performance...

Using the trial version of TMT on this test... It is far from ideal to be using it. The Picture quality is mediocre compaed to the PDVD range of players... Perhaps it is the trial usage that TMT limits it 's functions for patch fixing... CPU n' ram usage is relatively high... I'm not sure bout' the retail version, can some bros advise? Well, I won't be using TMT for now, but the ScreenCapture function is pretty neat...

Yo QuarXX your pm box is full,
yesterday i just check, my low profile intel HSF works, not as what you said
"Ok bro. U can try it with yours 1st, but the height can't go more than 4cm. If u want to mount slim-drive, the height cant't go beyond 3.2cm... "
it is able to accomodate 6cm, i have not touch the hsf yet, so can i return it back to u & refund .
Thanks.
K bro. Can refund u if u using your own, but I doubt u will be able to mount slim-drive after that... So can u confirm not mounting slim drive? because using the stock HSF will block the back of the slimdrive. The cable will not be able to extend... U can call my old man to arrange for refund. Can u go to my house instead?
Can email me if possible. The PM is limited n' I have difficulties loading page from HWZ all the time, since I'm in PRC. The web traffic is always jam pack.

Winner of the test... PDVD 7.3 Ultra... CPU clocks under 35% throughout the whole movie. Average clocking at 28% n' it plays HD DVD as well... Of course Patch build updates plays an important part. Too bad the v8 is a trial version that limits patch fix, but still capable of stable playback at average 40% of CPU usage... TMT is a dissapointment. I'm not sure if it's codec or was it the trial version that is limiting it's potential. If I wld spend $$ on the authorised copy n' still get this video quality, it'll be a tragedy... For bros who had ordered from me. Remember to get the right Codec Player to unleash the power of 780G. If u get inappropriate installation of software, it will eat up all the resource on ram n' CPU... The TMT peaks at 70% with 800+ of memory usage. Stay out of it at all costs.

Light gaming yes, but not heavy gaming.780G actually pass alot of professional bench test with it's IGP :) The 780G has onboard memory. It can share up to 512mb with the system add on ram...
QuarXX
11-12-2008, 11:20 AM
Just for the qn on IGP shared memory... It can actually support up to 1G of system ram. Check on screen image below... For Bluray HD playback, the standard minimum graphic memory required to support 1080P playback is 256mb. With this 780G, u can actually buffer up to 1G... I had tested it on 128mb frame buffer, n' it still plays on PDVD without judders n' hiccups. The IGP has real physical ram like discreet GFX :D

Hi bro. The sale will be for full barebone package only... I will not sell the seperate mobo for Zotac alone... If u like the Tsunami case, the Zotac may be under-utilising it, cos' it can house full u-ATX/m-ATX + full sized graphic card. The Zotac will be paired with my good ol' n' popular black SFF, cos' it's smaller than the Tsunami... As usual, my barebone set will come complete with every components u need... rams; cpu; hdd; mobo; psu; optical drive... 1 full year warranty on the system...
As for Tsunami case, I will package it with u-ATX 780G chipset mobo + GFX card (optional) for ultimate cross-fire performance. Perfect for SFF gaming... BD drive will be optional too, cos' too ex for some buyers.
U can get the casing alone as well. Price not confirm yet on my supplier side. Do keep track on my thread frequently to be updated... Thx!
btw, can email me also...

Thx for your support bro!! The shipment wld probably come in after CNY... It will be upon "order-to-ship", so as to avoid "PAP" inccidents I mentioned earlier in this thread. I will be bringing in the high profile GF9300 system as well. It will set fierce competition against 780G n' G45 mobo this year! That's for Intel lover of course :)

Hi bro. I do not bring in Zotac mobo alone. Reason is for local technical support. Zotac has online warranty registration thou, but u have to manually send it back to Taiwan in case got problem; not so good on customers' end... There is an LGA775 based GF9300 for Zotac, I may consider bringing that... My barebone system can support full warranty. The Zotac only comes within my SFF case... Will update more details here...

Yo bruder. Already long time never come your thread! My fren just get your 780G is very happy with it. Weekend just went his house to watch bluray. Man it's fantastic!! Din know htpc can replace bluray player liao!:s12: I'm still stuck with the old P4 mobo in your casing. After I saw my fren system I immediately kana poison oredi. Can you recomend me any mobo for 780G i can get in sls? I know Minix too ex$$, Gigabyte can or not? Your Tusnami looks fantastic, but seems like you onli pair it with Intel platform. Are you going to pair with AMD platform? My fren's 780G in yor compact SFF looks superb with the bluray dvd. He play soccer game on bigscreen also very smooth !! Tik I wan to dump my P4 mobo to put in your 780G system liao. Where can i find the bluray dvd in sls? Seems like you are using the notebook type. must be hard to find. How much is the GF9300 with the my SFF? I'm considering Intel or AMD? I never see Intel performimg graphics before but i'm impress with AMD780G. Can advise?
My concern is to use back the SFF i get from you last year. I like it very much. Really small and compact. tik new year coming must upgrade liao. but if price is good for your tusnami with Intel 9300. I can consider also. thankyou very much!:D:D:D

Oh so which of the 7 guys is your friend? Thanx for the support anyways. :)
Yes I do package 780G in the Tsunami case. It will allow user to have add-on card to enjoy full fledge Hybrid coss fire in Gaming. Currently, 780G still leading the market for IGP for SFF, even surpass performance of Intel G45 in Blu-ray and 3D segment... The 780 form factor allows SFF size, but 790 which only come in ATX form factor only can be installed with big case. 790 is even more breath-taking than 780!! Good news is that Nvidia is launching it's GF9300 in the U-ATX form factor that can be installed within compact HTPC chassis. It will rival on par with AMD790 in all aspects. Too bad GF9300 can't be use with the Big Buffalo SFF cos' it's UATX :( but with Tsunami case, users can enjoy the CUDA/PhysX Hybrid SLI with the add-on discreet card, yet still making the rig extremely compact! The Tsunami is by far the most compact SFF HTPC I've seen in the market. It has Intel's approved Thermal Acoustic Design (Patented) that only uses the CPU fan to do all the cooling. It's extremely quiet for HTPC application n' it can support Quad Core CPU in this Form Factor! Amazing... Well I anticipated the price to be much higher than my 780G package for all the advantages. Latest GF9300 mobo costs around $240sgd for Intel platform + factor in Intel CPU. Well, will update the price here. Will try to make the package most affordable for our SFF comminity here. That's my objective!!! Thx for the support!

I c. So for your 780G are you going to bring in again? The price under 1K with bluray. Unbeatable ha ha:D I did some calculation with Minix to achieve your SFF size. Walau already over 1K somemore no bluray dvd drive. so which mini itx u use for your 780G? I seem to unable to find 1 in sls to fit my casing. except for the minix only. Can u just sell the mobo to me? anyway is Intel G45 good for bluray? I'm also considering tusnami with 780g. after you explain about the hybrid cross fire. i'm very interested because I do play quite alot of games. GF9300 looks promising but will be over my budget. How about your Zotec 9300 mini itx? I think it definitely can fit inside my casing. ha ha if cheaper than Minix I sure hoot liao:D:D

Haha bro. Minix already close to $300sgd liao, moreover it's AMD m-itx... HTPC m-itx mobo ia naturally more X than m-ATX, not forgetting GF9300 is the latest Hi-End Chipset that support CUDA/PhysX n'Hybrid SLI on the INTEL platform. U think leh??? I keep my fingers crossed:s27: So for now, I will look for affordable uATX GF9300/9400 to pair it with the Tsunami. Making it under 1K is impossible liao... For buyers who wants to have GF9300 in my black SFF will have to go for the Zotac. Options are open, but u have to make yr own budget justification...
I have not gotten more orders for the SFF 780G since the last 7 orders. These few days, I had received mails mainly for the GF9300/Tsunami n' Zotac... The 780G mobo I used for the big buffalo SFF is a standard mATX. U can't find this in SLS. It's a joint company of the famous Albatron in HTPC m-itx, n' they are the only one to manufacture m-ATX for 780G specially for this SFF case. For ppl who can't afford Minix in this size, they go for this board. Which is why I can keep the budget affordable with these specs. ASUS or Gigabyte with uATX 24.4 x 24.4cm dimension will not fit in this SFF case, Gotta use Tsunami... Seems like u can only use my board, but I do not sell the mobo seperately...
Fixing up the components is a chores. I've seen them done that in the factory. Especially when getting the BD drive to compliment with the setup, I dun think u are able to do it if I pass u the board n' BD drive. If u want a complete set, I can arrange it n' bring it on the flight as I'm coming back 2 days before CNY. It will be the same package price $988sgd... If u are thinking of Tsunami, then u gotta wait til end of Feb or early March... 780G on Tsunami case will be over 1K as well, due to higher specs n' components, but will still be cheaper than GF9300 on Intel platform. I will update here when I got more infos!

Apprx. 1.2K - 1.5K depending on specs publish for add-on discreet graphic card or not... Maybe will leave it optional for buyers to add-on for themselves since most of them have their PCI-E already... Basic components will be standardise according to the spec published...

Gd mornin' bro... To understand more on the modern HTPC n' the latest publication of Nvidia's 9-Series Chipset performance capability, click on this link... It has all u need to know about setting up HTPC n' taking the advantge of it's 16-Core architecture designed chipset for GeForce 9300/9400...Take sometime to read thru, not a very long artical. Straight n' comprehensive...

Not only that the Tsunami + GF 9-Series making itself as the perfect barebone HTPC combo, it's also a stylistic Designer's PC on top of the desk... Taking advantage on the Nvidia's chipset acceleration onto PhotoShop CS4. Processing graphic is a breeze. Impressive!!! Gamers will not be dissapointed with it's CUDA+PhysX+Hybrid SLI as well...
