Also, my house line seems quite noisy. How can i improve the phone line signal?

was reading the xDSL thread but didn't really understand :o

seems ok to me. as long as noise margin is 13dB n above. did u try the main socket? hse phone can also cause the noise.

wat plan did u sign up?

wat plan did u sign up?actually the main socket is split into 2 connections. one for the cordless phone and another line into my room.

the one in my room splits to the phone and internet

10mbps plan :o

Connect micro filter to your cordless phones. Another one to your phone in the room.

if microfilter is not connected when connect wit phone, don tink his line wil be stable n able to post the line stats ler.

so i need microfilter to cordless also? :s11:

will there be any case whereby the main copper wire is old and needs to be changed :s11:

is your plan 8mbps or 10mbps?

Not really. If did not connect microfilter, the modem can still sync.

When the user starts to use the phone, or if there is an incoming call, then disruption will occur.

But there are some users that did not use microfilter and face no issue initially. But later on, they will face the disruption of service. It's funny but cannot be explained why.

The rule is must use microfilter.

It is a rule to have micro filter connected to all your phones that are sharing the same line as the modem.

If your housing is old and the cable had never been changed, there is a possibility that the copper corroded already. Try to change the RJ11 socket first. If the contacts there is NG, will cause problem too.
