Can Help me Check if you are able to access this site www.l4dsg.com Seems like i can't access it and my friend who are using starhub isp was also unable to access the site. Singnet users can access the site as what i was told by my friend.

Apparently i need help. I own that site and i myself was unable to access the domain. I reported to my hoster and was told it was starhub problem. The hoster has lodge a case with them and the starhub engineers are repairing the problem. Any other ways i can access myself? or fix it.?:(

i believe this is a newly created domain. It may take a few days before starhub's dns servers get updated. For now, you can use IP address to access this site.

You can call 1633 and insist that you get immediate access to their name server engineers. You can show them the information above via email or ask their DNS engineers to look at this post. You might need to "play along" when the first tier 1633 people "forces" you through their robotic script :D

i'm his web host provider... honestly speaking... i have yet to encounter dns taking so long to resolve, normally its max 6 hours... i'm testing on both starhub and singtel connection on same laptop... and submitting them to starhub. it seems like singnet users will not have any problem trying to access to the webby (via IP or domain), however, starhub will have problem accessing via domain (IP ok).

if you do a command prompt ping or trace to the domain, it will say host not found, if i do the same thing to the IP it works. i've tried to do a trace and ping still connected to starhub via www.speedtest.com.sg (http://www.speedtest.com.sg) i get replies.

my logic... correct me if i'm wrong...
there is some problem with starhub dns resolving...

1 more thing to add... amazingly i'm able to view l4dsg.com via starhub mobile using my n70!!!

Well, 1633 are programmed to filter out "end user problem" because a lot of calls and complains are really end user problem, poor understanding, etc. The alternative is reaching out to their NOC directly to request for DNS engineers to look at it.

Your SOA record looks interesting, is the hotmail.com domain valid?

Try forcing updates with serial change. You negative caching NXDOMAIN is 24 hours so it is possible that SH DNS is also waiting for that to timeout.
