Man Chelsea should have won it even by 1 - 0

We were dominating the game from Start to Finish.

Too bad. If it isn't obvious enough, the only way a score can change from 0-0 to 1-0 is when the ball crosses the goal line. ;)

well at least draw despite so many attempts on shots
did not concede

i seen matches same as this
but in the end the dominating team lost to only opp "one shot on target" :(

I never watch the game but one thing about Jose Mourinho era - he was a tactician with a gambler mindset. His Chelsea would throw the kitchen sink, 3 or even 2 at the back, throw everybody forward to get a win at whatever costs in some matches.

Alex Ferguson Man Utd used to do that too, that's why they got so many late goals from the late 1990s to early 2000s.

Tactics play a important part in winning/losing matches. But when all options failed to work, Mourinho knew where to play show hand.

Joe Cole scored but wrongly ruled offside by the Assistant Ref.

that would have open up the game as Newcastle search for the equaliser

it is chelsea weakness. Unable to create goal when opponent is parking bus. Also unable to score winning goal after 80min.

Scolari is good, but sometimes clueless on difficult games.

must be resolved soon if really want to be champion.

'if really wan to be champion' sounds wrong in terms of fairness to scolari..

u see lpool vs stoke oso..

if the whole team protect the goal like that, park bus like wtf.. how we gonna score..

imo chelsea already looking like champion's team.. only if they're consistent.. same goes to lpool man u and even arsenal..

the team tat stays most consistent wins the trophy.. not consistently off-form of cause..

ok finish side-ing scolari liao..

time to go back lpool/arsenal side :)

what you want them to do? play attacking game too and lose 3-0, 4-0.

The chelsea vs newcastle and Liverpool vs stoke game show that this tactics had it's rewards.

Liverpool also do it to a lesser extent in some matches and Man Utd did it last season during the ECL semis final away vs Barcelona. Just because they play park the bus tactics once in a blue moon doesn't meant others can't do the same always.

if parking the bus every game after scoring 1 goal can win the league why not?
