Someone needs to add the module "Introduction to Common Sense" REF1001 for referee training.

Is this a Greek league or Serbia league?

knn...if this is Mr Poll from BPL ...The UK Newspaper will have a field day...

knn...the player even opp team also try to help the players...

this ref should get a red card himself...

Law 12

A player is guilty of violent conduct if he uses excessive force or
brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball.
He is also guilty of violent conduct if he uses excessive force or brutality
against a team-mate, spectator, match offi cial or any other person.
Violent conduct may occur either on the field of play or outside its

Abit harsh i guess but totally in ref's right to issue a card

it was an intended trip. it's a fair call nonetheless.

well, the ref might have gone according to the rule....

but it is more of just a trip which would at most get a yellow card even if it is on an opponent in play.
the player didnt even use any force but just make sure that the fan fell over so the security can get hold of him. it was not excessive nor violent, right?

imo, the ref could have used a more common sense approach and issue a yellow card (sway if it is his 2nd yellow), instead of straight red?

to be honest it looked more like a second yellow to me than a straight red
