Previously im using Speedtouch 585 V6 modem which gives me speed of 8mbps downloading which is no problem.
However yesterday i decided to change and try the modem to the 2wire modem.. it keeps disconnecting however and is unstable
Due to the 2wire problem, i decided to change it back to the Speedtouch modem.. howvver, upon changing to the modem i normally usedm my speed has drastically lowered to only 2mbps.. and it has remained ever since yesterda,,
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks ^^

Are all of the phone points using the phones fitted with a microfilter, the attenuation looks a bit high..... high chance you never fit a microfilter at every phone points using the phone.....

Attenuation Down: 52.0 dB, Up: 59.0 dB
This looks back ... Mine is below 10 for both :s22::s22::s22:
Try connect microfilter to modem then remove all cord phone ...
Then see if it improves or change microfilter if got extra :s22::s22:

line Attenuation Down: 52.0 dB, Up: 59.0 dB; snr Margin Down: 9.5 dB, Up: 8.5 dB
if 2wire modem to wall socket on direct connection with all other phones removed from other wall sockets AND still get similar reading...
mai tu liao, call singnet helpdesk & demand line check.

The microfilter is old one or new ones, maybe can remove all, only leave the modem, then take the line readings, when I say remove all means that all phone remove also, only left modem............ then take the line readings, main possibilities is that microfilter faulty, or backend fault.

just need to vent....singnet's a piece of crap. suspect they've been reducing their available bandwidth pool for the past month to save money.
