I am currently using maxonline and cableTV, if i want to switch to singnet i just need to get new modem and receiver from them right? The cable points all those are still the same issit? How troublesome is it to switch to signet for both cableTV and maxonline ?

Erm.. i never heard of Singtel providing any cable services, if you want to sign up singnet broadband, you must first have a fixed line service. Then you can subscrible to their broadband and miotv.

if u sign contract with them, u get a ethernet modem or even a wireless modem for free with their higher end plans. all u need is a phone socket for the modem.. its not like starhub that uses cable connection.
Of cos ur phone socket has to have a working line..
