My friend is getting another com soon, but he doesnt wanna get rid of his old pc, he is using singtel mio for internet and was wondering how to create a wireless network so that the 2nd pc can connect to internet

u can get the wireless adapter almost any pc shop. depends on u wan to choose usb type or pci type(where u hav to open up the pc n fix in).

Is your mio modem capable of going wireless?

You need to get a USB wireless adapter from any hardware shop. Shouldn't cost more than $30 bucks. Plug it in, and if you're using Vista they'll prompt you. Just click on your home network and you're done! (Remember to password-protect it or your neighbours will be riding on your back :) )

its not my modem, though im sure its wireless, 2wire router
