mine is intel 4965AGN draft N adapter (laptop), does it mean cannot 100mbps?

cos when i use my 100mbps starhub plan with 1000mbps compatible motorola modem, with a linksys wireless n-router, i only recieve speed of 54mbps, i call up linksys, they tell me cos mine draft-N adpater so cannot recieve, but i search net, intel say draft N can go up to 300mbps.

so how to activate the draft-N to get my derserved 100mbps wirelessly???

intel only allows up to 130mbps on 2.4GHz n 300mbps on dualband

try WPA or WPA2 - i believe is ur security issue and that causes u to be connected with 54mbps only.

Try to do a speedtest, using lan instead of wireless, also take note that starhib is shared so might not get 100mbps........ do a speedtest on www.speedtest.net..........
