Is 3MBPS ENOUGH?

Hi im looking get rid of my maxonline to a singtel broadband, just wondering, would the basic 3mbps speed be sufficient for browzing internet, downloading movies/tv shows from itunes or usenext and watch youtube? I rarely upload photos etc so its mostly downloading.

Was looking to subscribe to the Mio Home. If you guys feel that 3mbps is not enough in todays world then will i guess look to goto 8mbps.

I think 3Mbps is enough for your usage since you are not playing any online games... but somehow the SingNet BB 2WIRE modem is not very stable in terms of connectivity... so maybe you can research abit before switching over...

Hey thanks for your help bro, was given the router a a gift, so might as well use it instead of the free 2wire wireless modem router. Hope Singtel will help with the configuration as would have no idea how to install.

3mbps user here... as mentioned above. no trouble for : youtube,downloading,online gaming.
