Hi bros.. just wondering whether any of you have ever watched a live match of the club you support?

If you have.. is it very difficult to secure tickets, make arrangements, etc?

Onli catch my fv club - Newcastle playing against our very own Lion at the National Stadium in the mid 90s. Keagan was the manager at that time and they have just signed Shearer for a world record fee of 15k pounds...Shearer did not play that day thou as he was injured i think...Les Ferdinand scored from a header and wow...how high he can jump man.... Hope to catch it live in St James Park one day...

LIVE matches as in actual hometown of that country or in Singapore.

If Singapore, then caught Liverpool playing against our National team... in 2001 .. am I right? The same year Man U came down too..
I still have that ticket stub with me.. safely locked in my drawer!

it is fairly difficult to secure tickets. unless you have friends who have memberships. i managed to catch arsenal v newcastle last year, but that was a league cup match which did not require a membership to purchase, and only cost 10 pounds (iirc 13 pounds including surcharges). i'm not even an arsenal fan btw. :p

every club has a slightly different ticketing system, so it'd be good for you to check out the relevant info for your club.

If you wanna watch Arsenal, you can go to the Singapore Arsenal fan club which is an official fans club. They can help to get tickets if i remember correctly. Once the tickets are confirm, all you need is to book the air tickets and off you go!

That is if the $$$ is the least of your concern. :s13:

Thx for the replies bros

Im actually referring to travelling to England to watch the match.

Was in Manchester a couple of years back and managed to visit Old Trafford but that was during off season, and I didn't make it to my own team home ground because I didn't have the time to travel to Goodison Park.

Thought of travelling there (Goodison Park) at least once in my life to watch my toffees play. Or maybe I can go to the new Kirkby Stadium next time =:p
