Using 2Wire 2700HG-V2 as wireless access point for Starhub cable modem

Hi all experts,
I know these is a common question, but I tried many ways and means to do as above, still cant get to work. I not sure where go wrong.... I tried setting bridge mode to the 2wire modem, but still cant work.
Can anyone advise me on whole steps to set up? Really appreciate your help.

Is it even possible to configure the WAN port as regular DHCP? Cable modem is *not* PPPoE. I believe the last time I checked such 2Wire router, they are customer Singtel firmware configured for ADSL on WAN only.

my 2wire already ready for wireless connection, but when i connect cable modem to 2wire, no internet connection. How?
