I didn't watch the match, but I read from reports that he appeared to have lost his head and did many X-rated tackles. However I read that he was not booked but UEFA may investigate into this.

Anyone watched the match? Did Rooney really lose his head? :s11:

he lunged at a defender needlessly, and had a scuffle with another. but the stamp was unintentional imo. go search for the video in the man utd thread.

he kinda lost his head... i was shocked when i saw the video...

the stamp was 50/50....but there was a tackle which was shockingly bad....where he lunged at a player from behind

International or not I beileve the person get the full damage and it is not only the stamp that he is involve.

And his teamate Ronaldo love to flick out his boot out to get opponent after being tackle and has escape with punishment so far.
