It's not a problem with the ISP, it's a problem with RapidShare.

They are just a pain to start with.

I gave up on using Rapidshare.
There's alot of other sites out there that provides similar services with much less hassle AND without have to get a premium acct.
And at least I dun have to wait around 40secs for the timer to get to 0 and end up getting errors from those other sites.

Why is it a pain with RS? Is RS meant to be a charity?

Only 40 seconds.

Easy-share.com makes you wait 499 seconds after the first download!

But sadly, many files are usually uploaded to rapidshare.. Much more than any other file hosting sites..

Then luckily for me, the stuff I download will never be downloaded from there.
And does Easy-share givs you errors when you try to download?

I once tried downloading a file from RS...
Took me 3 hours worth of trying before I succeeded.

Their philosophy is make life so difficult and miserable for free downloaders that they'll break out their pockets to buy premium, just to reduce the pain of waiting/multiple-clicking/slow-speed.

Mediafire is the best - no waiting time, very good speed.

hey ts if your interested iam selling rapidshare accounts at cheap prices
depends on how long u want the account to last
30 day account @ only $10, compared to $15 if u buy from rapidshare, not including the taxes they charge

frankly speaking rapidshare is really damn fast compared to BT
my dl of movies(700mb) is always around 15 mins using starhub 8mbps
