hi all, anyone able to tell me if the homeplug able to work in my 3room upgraded flat. Thanks.
The flow will be in this form,
Bedroom: Mio modem->desktop->homeplug
Utility room:homeplug->macbook.
Anyone know whether if the utility room, which is the additional room after upgrading work have the circuit connected to the bedroom circuit or is it another phase?
Thanks (: Please help.

I don't think there would be much problem, all your electricity leads to the same main anyway (the one which fuses if your electricity usage suddenly skyrocket and you got to flip the switch).
I would plug the HomePlug directly into the modem instead of the desktop, or did I misunderstood your drawing?

ya, i directly plug a ethernet cable from my mio box to the homeplug, an another ethernet cable from the mio box to the desktop.
Oh, really will it work ? cause i'm afraid that it actually is a different main box. anyway thanks for your input.
Appreciate more feedbacks thanks . (:

Technically, our flats has a very simple wiring architecture and all the home wirings would be connected.
However, if you are worried, why not just get a wireless broadband router so you have something like
Bedroom : MIO Modem > Broadband Router > Desktop
Utility Room : Macbook
The 3 room flat is small enough where the wireless network would be able to provide full coverage and the Macbook comes with wifi support built-in.

For maximum wireless signal I suggest placing the modem in a centralised location in your apartment.
