Hello everyone
I'm considering moving from singnet 10 mb to StarHub maxonline 100mb.
If someone using this service please help by posting your speedtest.net result for overseas test . practically to Los Angeles CA , and New York
I'm posting my result her with singnet as an example.

BTW i never ever seen 7293 to CA but now , seems they know I plan to leave them or what :s13:

Your download speed still depends on the server you are downloading from.
If they got a crappy connection you are screwed.

Thank you guys for posting , please keep posting your result , also if possible please post the modem you are using , I never used cable modem before so I have no idea which is best.
I want to know one ore point , with singnet when I restart my modem I get different ip every time . is it the same with cable broadband or your IP is fixed . thanks a lot :)

For SH MOL Ultimate only the Motorola SB6100 can achieve speed of up to 100Mbps. And yes, IP address do change but not on every restart.

If you turn off your modem for a while, then turn it back on, your IP do change.

nope not really.. sometime i off for 3hour still get back the same ip...

how do i do it? usually when i go overseas i turn off for few days then ip address will change.

plug in more than 1 nic card loh
