If phone came out on Feb 2008, it should have warranty. Ask them to check the shipment date..

Go register online first. then go to service centre later... if within 1 year, warranty should be valid regardless of registered or not. Should insist on this. Registration only required the serial no/IMEI no.

Good luck..

Open your backcover, remove ur battery, check for the S/N. HTXYY.........

X = year of manufactuer

YY = week of the year X it is manufactuered in.

If its still within one year, u're safe. :)

(duno still helpful or not since its already 2 months late)

Hi,

How can I register online? I try to google but cannot find the link to register for warranty.

BTW, is the receipt really needed? I bought from someone, he said it's from M1. Should have receipt right?

Thanks for helping

Thanks for replying. Seems like i lost my warranty. The guy who sold to me don't have the receipt anymore. It's also partly my fault, i didn't check for it in the first place :(

Anyway I can still get the warranty?

yes, but its probably going to be 1-2 months less depending on how new the phone is and when it was manufactured.

Sorry. Not really understand it. Are you saying that it's still possible, perhaps they check using IMEI, and the warranty starts from manufacture date (instead of bought date)?
