I am a subscriber of an overseas webhosting plan from a webhosting company. I had 3 websites under the hosting plan. (littlevault.com, rin-wendy.com & 13apostles.com)

All has been well until the recent past 2 days. I cannot view any image from any of these 3 websites on my net connection. The php/xhtml/css loaded fine but none of the images can be loaded. I contacted my webhosting company and they told us it runs fine in their computers and there is no IP blocking on their side.

I did a few tests on my computer, disable the firewall, disconnect my router and connect directly to my modem, checked for any software that is blocking images from loading from the 3 websites but to no avail. Strangely enough without any changes in my software settings I am able to get a full view of my websites when I connect my MaxMobile to my computer. It is my MOL that is not working. All other websites do not have this problem.

My friends who are using Starhub MOL also do not have this problem when visiting my websites. Is starhub doing selective blocking of specific websites on my IP?

This is what I see on my computer with MOL connected

Possibility is there as always, but I don't see any "blockage" on MOL. You have specific image url?

I posted a screen capture how my website looks like when connected using MOL.
Here it is, the link (http://www.rin-wendy.com/images/whatiseehaiz.jpg)

I surf with the same browser settings using Maxmobile on the same computer I am able to see the full website.

Dunno what troubleshooting info you need, I grabbed the image and it downloaded fine:

From your points that you mentioned

1) Overseas website
2) Past two days

I roughly can conclude that you are just being ping timeout

Do a ping url in cmd prompt

Most likely cause: Undersea Cable Cut Impacts Europe, Asia (http://deluxeforums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=2206450)

No problem to access all 3 websites using MOL SurfLite.
Website loading looks okay to me.

Pinging rin-wendy.com [75.125.143.18] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 75.125.143.18: bytes=32 time=242ms TTL=47
Reply from 75.125.143.18: bytes=32 time=240ms TTL=47

Reply from 75.125.143.18: bytes=32 time=249ms TTL=47

Ping statistics for 75.125.143.18:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 240ms, Maximum = 249ms, Average = 242ms

Hmm I don't think it is ping timeout.....

image hot linking protection or htaccess?

can you access the image directly? try http://www.littlevault.com/images/portfolio/fitevo.jpg and then copying and pasting the URL in the address bar. does the image load

Something is strange. On MOL, can access your directories but not the jpg images. Tried on MaxMobile and no problem accessing the jpg images.

Nekorin, contact your provider and ask them whether their firewall got block IP starting with 202.156.x.x

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and replies.
I've called Starhub yesterday, they said will ask their engineers to check on it. And strangely enough the connection is restored today without me doing anything on my end.

@dante-z
I don't think there is a need for me to do that = =
And personally I am not that type of person that would resort to tricks just to get people into my websites.

@krazyman
You got the same problem as me too?
