I on maxonline free for 12month, my connection got problem since dec 5 2008. I am keep getting Internet Explorer cannot display the page. My house with 2 cable point in the living room, 1 for maxonline, other for maxTV. I connecting 10Meter wired cable to my room.
I called up technical support, they still investigation, they not sure what problem.

Should the problem be 10meter wired cable, it abit old.
Should i get wireless router?
Can anyone advise me how to solve this problem.

well for now every MOL's customer got the same problem like yours (almost all complain and call 1633) my self also since 2-3 weeks ago been getting connection interrupted when browsing random site. Sometime no connection at all until you must call 1633 to do something about it. I can't upload anything to megaupload, can not establish conection to my FTP server (US). And every night 7pm and above is a nightmare for surfing.

Oh my husband also called the hotline and they said is currently investigating also. Yeah standard answer.

got connection, just that when surfing net, i will get either blank white screen or error Internet Explorer cannot display the page. Starhub told me 10m will lead to slow connection.
Although i am using free for 12month. They are still investigation and they said my signal is okay.

do you have same error "Internet Explorer cannot display the page"

Same problem here for the last few week.

2 months, I have also experience problem with MaxOnline, reported, no improvement and StarHub simply don't care. In the end, I reported to IDA and problem solved.

My advise: Don't bother to feedback to StarHub, just write in to info@ida.gov.sg

PS: IDA is the authority for Singapore Infocomm, it is suppose to overse Singapore Infocomm services. Asked them to pressure or penalty StarHub for it's poor services and customer support...
