Hi,

I have setup a DCS-5220 which is working well for the past 8 months, but recently there is a weird problem.

The display will be refreshed intermittenly. Previously when it happened, I just did a reboot of the camera and it is back to normal.

Nowadays, even after rebooting the intermittent refresh is still there.

Is there something wrong with my camera or the Dlink website?

Anybody have similar experience?

i suggest you send it for repair if updating newer firmware (if any) doesnt solve.

Try upgrade firmware, if problem still exists, sent back for repairs. :o

Have upgraded the firmware from 1.02 to 1.04.

But the problem was still there even after the upgrade during the first day.

Seems to be a bit more stable now.

Have email to Dlink for help and their response was prompt during the first day, but after several emails and feedback. There isn't any response from them anymore. Maybe the whole tech support team is off for the Christmas....lol

Just bring in for RMA...

Bring in for RMA, high chances that they will replace a new set for you
on the spot. That's what I call Customer Service!

I got a problem w my 5220 too.

I tried to save the motion detected video to my DNS-323, but so far no success.:( Anybody can guide me to get the correct setting. I can motion detect to e-mail no problem. Can also record continuosly to DNS-323 no problem (although the recording will stop after 1 or 2 days. still dont know why?). :o
