PPPoE is for ADSL. For your case you just do a hard reset to it. It will allow you to go online the wired way. If you want to use wireless, you need to set up the SSID and security by its webgui via 192.168.11.1

Don't make use of any funky CD or wizards, they create confusion and troubles more than they can help you setting up the router.

shouldn't that be 192.168.1.1?

To the OP, make sure you get it to work on a direct, wired connection first. You won't have to worry about entering WEP/WPA etc. You need to switch off the modem before connecting the router.

The hard reset should point it back to the factory default 192.168.11.1
