Changing DIR-300 antenna

Hi guys,

The default antenna for DIR-300 is how many dBI? I believe is should be a SMA Connector right?

Thinking of getting Dlink DWL-50AT 5dBi Omni to improve indoor coverage. Currently is very weak as compare to my old linksys

Don't get conned lah, 5dbi is just a longer piece of wire. Lordalfa from VR-zone is selling the exact same thing for $3.50, its a linksys 5dbi oem. I can confirm that it does increase signal, like maybe 5-10%

i have the dwl-50at actually :)
u see the normal type all is the basic oem design.

bigger antenna will not increase signal ... it will only receive better ... so changing router antenna will not boost signal sent out ...
