Hi all,

I have successfully installed the driver for the USB adapter downloaded from PLANEX(http://www.planex.net/download/wireless/gw-us54gxs.htm).

However, i am unable to open the PCI GW-US54GXS Utility program to select if i wan to use the adapter as Access Point(to provide wireless signal to my PSP/WII) or Wireless adapter. I tried to exe the program as a administrator but nothing comes up after i click on the program icon.

Any one has any idea how to setup this thing?

Thank you in advance!

Cheers!

Check your device manager to see if the PCI card is detected in the first place.
If so, did you install the correct drivers? Are you using a 32-bit OS and had installed a 64-bit driver?

Did you install the right version of the app?

If so you can try reinstalling and see if the application works.

From what I understand, you are trying to set the adapter as Access Point for your consoles?

If you are still using WZC after you installed the application, you need to disable WZC in order for the application to works and let you choose between AP or client mode.

Go to start>run then type services.msc

Browse for Windows Zero Configuration, stop the service and restart the computer.
