Advice on Mobile BB (short term)

Hi guys,

I would like to subscribe to a short term mobile BB service that I will be using in my army camp in the western part of sg (lim chu kang area)

I plan to surf the internet using my E51 hp. Or use my hp as a modem and use my psp to surf the web at night.

I am looking out for the following..

1) Short term contract of 6 months
2) Good coverage in the very western part of sg
3) High speed not a factor.. just stable connection enough for me to do normal web-surfing
4) Ability to make use of 3.5G/3G network to surf the internet.

Do singtel and starhub offer short term contract like M1 ?

Will it be possible to surf the internet and at the same time receive/send sms & phone calls using my hp?

Currently I am using M1's NS 2 years mobile contract.. thinking whether or not is possible to have mobile BB as a VAS

cause i ORD in June 2009. which is about 6 months from now. just nice for me.

and besides, I dont want to spend much on mobile BB since I already have MOL 8mbps plan at home.

looking for plans under $25 per month.

since you are on m1 mobile plan, use m1 bb vas. No contract. M1 bb vas is different price plan from data plan. Call them for details.
