Networking for home user

Hi, anyone can support for checking for setting as I want to connect my laptop running Vista Business to my existing desktop XP SP2. .. for desktop as it is connection directly to router and laptop is using wireless connection. Both can connect to broadband with any problem. The router is linksys WRG200. Anyone have good advise kindly advise further. Thanks

connect to what? shared filesystem? shared printer? remote desktop?

Hi , would like to create a wireless conenction for file sharing with my laptop and desktop. I able to view my desktop icon under network in laptop. But when double click , cannot view shared folder. Any tips ?

ok which folder u want to share right click on that folder and click on sharing and security and share this folder .:s12:

make sure u open the appropriate firewall ports.
