just a quick check here.
i'm thinking of getting a wireless usb adaptor (my m/b got no pci slot) and I am presented with 2 options :
without antenna (which I prefer); for example :http://www.prolink2u.com/self/products/wireless/images/wireless_wg2000_m.gif
with antenna; for example :http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21W%2BmGO9YkL._SL210_.jpg
I know people usually get the antenna-less model for laptops, but i'm going to use it with my desktop PC (space saving reasons).
any problems with using the antenna-less models ? the distance of my PC to my wireless router is about 10 metres and separated by the door of my room.
also, I noticed that there are sooooooo many models of wlan usb adaptors (linksys, prolink, tp, dlink, edimax, buffalo etc) ... I think I'm not going to attempt to ask which is the best. But, which brands and models you have had bad experience and is strictly should not buy ?Thanks in advance!
