Hi, i recently changed my router to 2wire 2701HGV-E given by singnet for the macbook promotion. I have a Network attached storage and recently when doing some file transfer from my laptop to the NAS, my desktop couldn't surf the internet at all. Is this suppose to be normal?
I remember in the past when doing file transfer with my old router (Speedtouch 585) , no such problem happens. Another issue with the 2wire is the transfer rate of BT. It had been below 10kpbs and i've ensured port being set properly and firewall had been deactivated, is this normal?
The reason why i change my speedtouch is because i couldn't connect to game like L4D (Router will automatically restart) after upgrading to 10mbps but i could still surf the internet and use application like MSN. I also initially had problem with the 2wire router because it can't connect to the internet, some ATM server not found or sort but subsequently singnet technician solved it.
