Hi guys, sharing my experience regarding Miotv and Homeplug HL109E.
This is the latest news AZTECH no longer provide firmware upgrade for their HL109E and other homeplug series like HL108E, HL105E etc.
Called up technical support 6749-2062 the support officer when attend to me SAY: ALL AZTECH HOMEPLUG COMES WITH THE LATEST FIRMWARE. SO BUY WITH CARE.
HE DUN EVEN BOTHER TO ASK ME FOR THE FIRMWARE I'm Using currently. Den When I challenge him for the firmware version He lagi best eh. I here dun have the plug. Den he repeat his same cork & bull story AZTECH HOMEPLUG ALL HAVE THE LATEST FIRMWARE
Tell him the Miotv issue seen on http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=2021977 . He also taiji say all homeplug is the latest and there is no firmware for it!! AZTECH IS A TAI JI COMPANY!!!
SO BUY @ UR OWN RISK!! Would rather go for linksys, netgear where the end-support is much better. SOMEMORE THE FIRMWARE IS RELEASE TO PUBLIC NOT LIKE AZTECH. Their Reason for this is they fear user negligent.
