Windows 7 questions

For those who are familar with Windows 7, have a few questions to ask you:

1) 64bit OS? If so, need to ensure the hardware all hv 64bit drivers? This is the main reason I am still sticking to WinXP.

2) Can detect more than 3GB of RAM?

3) What is the comfortable minimum requirement for hardware specs? Dun trust the web recommendation haha

hi i just share something i know. haha=:p
1) has both 32-bit and 64-bit version like Vista. if u want to use 64-bit, u have to ensure there are 64-bit drivers.
2) can detect or not, goes back to the first question. this the fundamental difference of 32-bit and 64-bit version of windows. regardless is it winxp, winvista, win7, 32-bit will see 3+gb only. winxp, winvista, win7 64-bit will see more than 4gb
3) those people who used win7 beta said can run with hardware less demanding than vista. i havent try yet. :)

I will be putting 16GB on x64 XP pro, will update you if will ever do for Win 7.

Same as Windows Vista, but further optimised for better performance.

Expect 7 to run faster than Vista, and maybe even better than XP as with the latest Beta build at the moment.
