I'll be staying at a place called Palm Suite located at Lap Phrao. It's not a hotel, but something like apartments. At 400 baht a night, I think it's seriously cheap as the room is pretty big and shower comes with a heater, has room service, and most importantly there's lifts provided. Bad thing is is that it is pretty enclosed, and would almost definitely need to take a cab to your other destinations. My gf is from Thailand, so if there are any places of interest you might be interested in do let me know! Just came back from Thailand. Went back to the same hotel and found out that they increased the price to $500 baht, which is still reasonable. $500 baht is for a room, not a person. And the room is big enough to accomodate 10 ppl.
