I just got my MaxOnline connection installed 3 days ago and the past 2 days Ive been having problems with my laptop only. Every other computer in the house works fine except mine. I'm on my MBP using Leopard. I just get a lot of time outs and pages just randomly don't load fully or don't load at all.
The connection even just completely stops and then comes back later. Help :(
The router I'm connected to is a D-Link DIR-655.

You using WPA or WEP for wireless protection. I think some Mac not so stable with WPA wireless or take longer time to login after many failures.

i don't think so la, no such problem with my mac. TS, why not you disable any form of security on your router and see if you can connect to the said router.

I've never had problems with WPA or WPA2 in my years of using the Mac. I've gone through every iteration of the MBP with the same DIR-655.

I'd try novatliz's suggestion. It's also possible your DIR-655 isn't configured properly, though I've not had issues with the stock config. Disable other wireless devices and try with the Mac only - I've had issues with some of the Linksys G adaptors who seem to be causing some problems. Replaced one with another dlink and it works well.
