to connect between mio modem and miotv stb, you have 3 choices recommended by singtel:
1) Aztech Homeplug (a pair), get those 200Mbps model
2) Ruckuss wireless (a pair)
3) Ethernet cabling

paisei if i keep asking noob qns. :o

i saw some of the SLS pricelists stating that aztech homeplug (200Mbps) costs ard $100, 1 pair will be abt $200. how did singtel manage to make it that 1 pair of homeplugs costs only $53.50? :s11:

if that's the case, they charge $200 for cordless installation, $150 for labour ah? :s31:

singtel's homeplug requires you to sign up for it during mio tv contract signing. it's called "cordless home connect".

from miotv faq:
http://mio.singtel.com/miotv/faqs.asp
Customer takes up the Cordless Home Connect at a promotional deal at $53.50 (retail at $214). Customer will then need to fulfill a term of six (6) months, failing which an early termination fee of $160.50 would be imposed.

actually, if ts takes option 3 (ethernet cabling), singtel will supply up-to 20m cabling and with pvc covering for free.

yes, the current batch of homeplug av (hl109e) is listed at S$99 per piece.
