Hi Guys, i'm not sure if you guys have encountered a similar thing, but this is what happened to me.
In mid Dec'08, I went to starhub to sign up 2 lines under digital home voice service. 1st line to be port over from my existing singtel line and the 2nd line will be a new number, which were chosen from their number list on the spot. The sign-up went smoothly and i chose a nice number for my 2nd line. Then i was told to wait till end of Januarry until they can send someone down to setup. It sounded ok to me as i understand that they have a long queue of people porting over from singtel.
Okay now here is the problem, today (12Jan'09) they called me and told me that the number I chosen has a technical problem and cannot be set up. This means i have to choose a new number from their current list, which is not as pretty as the originally chosen one. So, i called their sales department 1630, and they told me this has to do with a serial routing problem... and said this is common as some customers also being affected.
haiz...... the number i chosen was really pretty... it is a pity i met with such an issue.
i haven't go down to choose a new number yet, and im thinking of persuing the matter with starhub. what do you all think?
