hi,

I have just signed up for mio tv have the following question:

I hv a thomson ST536 modem from Singtel that can connect to mio tv box. now i have a linksys WRT54G router and if i want to connect it to the router to have wireless network and connection to multiple PC, how can i do so?

Do i just connect :- phoneline --> ST536 modem --> WRT54G router --> mioTV box and PC (wired) and wireless network ??

is the above connection right?? do i need to do any setting change or whatsoever?? if yes, can guide me as i am really noob. thanks!!!:s11::s11:

Chunlianghere, Thanks!!!

Is this a plug and play type of connection or do i still need to do any setting change on the ST536V6 or WRT54G? i believe both the modem and router have PPPoe or something which they will self connect to BB....so will there be any conflicts ?:o

sorry for so many question, me still trying to understand more about networking...thanks in advance.:)

if u wan to hook direct to router, you may wan to see SNAG's method. It is not recommended.
