wierd problem ! help me get utorrent working !

am using xp, have both utorrent and bitcomet on the laptop, ISP is Starhub, direct connection from Motorola SBV5121 Cable Modem to laptop. I've no problem BT with bitcomet with speeds ranging 250-500kB/s depending on availability of seeds and peers. The problem is utorrent isn't working, i can only attained 1-3kB/s. But the wierd thing is I can utorrent at my brother's place, ISP is Singnet with good speeds of about 300kB/s. Personally, I prefer utorrent interface, and hope any of you guys out there can help me to get utorrent working. Thanks in advance ...

You use Bitcomet and Utorrent at the same time ?

Have you done any setting to you Utorrent ?

Yeah, I've done the necessary settings, that's why utorrent is working fine, and I am able to BT at my brother's place, but ISP is Singnet. Problem is I can't utorrent at my place where ISP is Starhub. Any clues ?

They might have got a torrent filter to work.........

are you referring to Starhub is filtering torrents, funny thing is I've no problems BT using BitComet, speeds ranging 250-500kB/s. I suspect I need to do some tweaking at utorrent with respect to Starhub connection. I tested the in-built utorrent port check and it says port does not appear to be open, however, bottom is green indicator showing connection is okie. Sigh ....
