Sign Singnet 3mbps or 8mbps got difference?

as above. cos currently i'm on singtel mobile broadband 1mbps and 2mbps. totally no differences....

so thinking of changing to adsl. question is sign 3mbps or 8mbps? got difference or not? will use it to play game, streaming and download which i cannot do using mobile broadband... too slow...

If u just surf net game & video stream 3 Mbps would be enough ...

i use starhub max online 8 mbps and free hubstation 1 mbps
when i using 8 mbps to play game after that change to 1 mbps and play, i dont see much difference leh...
surfing also not much difference and i dont download much
can someone expain to me y not much differnece in speeds?

becos it doesnt use tat much bandwidth.

difference wil only be noticed when using 512kbps n 1mbps.

got write there mah lol.. i use for gaming + streaming + download (most of it rapidshare or some torrent) ...

i use office internet is very fast just 5mbps. but that one cannot compare to normal line because office one is 5Mbps Fibre Ethernet connection. i believe its dedicated one lol....

Got. Just upgraded from 3 to 8Mbps. Last time BT at night about 200KB/s; now get 400-600KB/s. Haven't really play around with the 2wire settings. Tried Singnet FTP test can >8Mbps, so theoretically could get even faster download if tweaks are made.

currently using singnet 3mb. surfing wise, no difference from starhub 8mb.

but if downloading, you will be veri tulan... ccos the speed difference is really a lot... used to download at 700-800kb/s (if early in the morning can hit 900+) from starhub.... now the singnet 3mb is only 300+kb/s....

ya of cos thats the difference..
you see the difference in speed when u dl stuffs.. surfing net and video streaming gt no diff..

i dont download much things and im using 8mbps..zzzz
im thinking of terminating maxonline express sia but cannot..... got lured into signing it by a starhub door salesperson for 35% discount every month, paying $38. Wth... blame myself for not doing much research T.T
should have signed for Maxonline surflite instead T_____T...... arrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
