hi all. im not sure if this is a problem of the DNS setting.

my current DNS is set 192.168.0.1

using a router. when i set static IP using the guide online, when i type ipconfig/all, i was given 192.168.0.1 as the DNS. hence, im using it since then.


been wondering if this is a wrong setting...


anyone care to advise?

the above is fine as long as you have a router to do the job for the DNS part.

If its not broken, don't fix it. Your router is forwarding your DNS resolver on your behalf to the DHCP one assigned by isp

ok thanks for the info.

i was searching online and found different dns data. guess i should just use back the 192.168.0.1
