singnet 2wire modem

hey guys,

i just recontract my singnet plan to the 8mbps plan.

and i took up the wireless modem by the singnet.

they send to me this yesterday morning.


it is the 2wire 2701hgv-e modem

does it is the modem cum router ..

or need to buy a wireless router for the modem

if i want to use it to connect wireless ..

how to connect it. my rig didnt have any wireless pci-card ... currently , im not connecting wireless... still using the lan cable

currently, im using the d-link 2540t modem cum adsl2+ router

should i give the 2wire modem a try or still stick wit my current modem ? which is better for my 8mbps plan.

heard alot of bad comments abt 2wire.. u might wan to research on posts abt 2wire.

but u stil can giv it a try. if it does not serve u well, jus change back to dlink.
