Hi,

I just migrated from Qala to Singnet. Is it possible to host a webserver on my internal network and allow external parties to see? My conditions:

1) Using the MIO 2wire modem - Port forwarded PC in the firewall setting
2) Using no-ip.com to set IP address to IP address found in MIO page
3) Using non-standard port for webpage

Unfortunately, I still cannot resolve the webpage using the no-ip URL. Using the machine name (internal), there is no issue.

Is it because Singnet stop webserver hosting?

I had no issues with my Qala provider previously.

You cannot resolve to yourself for some reasons. Don't ask me why...ask your friend to try your noip url, it should work.

I pass my friends my IP address to connect to me on port 80 (apache web svr, and it works), but if I try to connect to it myself using the external IP I give them, it doesn't work.

Using Singnet Mio too.

You can try to use other port instead for port 80.
