wusb54gc device cannot start

Hi guys,

I have this problem when I have plug this out and try to install at another location...I have the following problem....

1) cannot detect the device automatically
2) I have to manual install
3) after install, cannot detect networks
4) tried to repair, during enabling, "device cannot start code 10"

Below is what i have tried.

1) uninstall the adapter in device manager
2) delete rt73.sys
3) reinstall with lastest and older version of driver...
4) try all other usb point
5) test all usb point with other external device....(all working properly except the wireless adapter)
6) try to install at my coy labby...(working fine)
7) call linksys....(say this is not their problem)
8) try cannot by LAN through router..work fine

So the problem is my computer....any other advise pls..

Did you tried uininstall all the USB host controller in device manager?

hmm...that is one thing i haven try..

but there are one whole list of them....

uninstall all?

Yes, all of them and restart the system.

You can choose to restart the system and let found new hardware wizard to reinstall all the controller or perform scan for hardware changes in the device manager.

i have tried to uninstall all the controllers...

restart....plug it in, still the same..

i even format my computer...

plug in STILL THE SAME....

OMFG....
