Hi my starhub box in my room shows me that the bit error rate is about 3.5E-7 while the one in the living room shows about 8.5E-7.
May I know if the larger the number means better connection or worse?

I think mai gan cheong lah, E-7 means multiply 10 to the power of negative 7. That should give you the perspective how insignificant the difference are is :P

Hmm, which means higher the value the better or lower?

I don't think it matters, value too small.

I see. Because I'm having frequent ping fluctuation while gaming. So I was thinking maybe it's the bit error rate.
Usually what's the cause of ping fluctuation?

No no. It is the same server I used to connect using singnet and it's a starhub server.
Will low signal strength cause the problem?
