a class goal from a class player.
Becks has made a starting place at Milan no thanks to Rino's injury, but for a man who has not played since October he has been doing very well.

Good to see that he is doing well in AC. I always feel that Steve McClaren treated him unjustly. Even if Steve did not want him as a captain he should have still made the England squad. I do not like Beckham's personal life but his work rate and attitude on the field has earned my respect.

I still love Becks to bits. If there's one player i would like back at United, it's him.

From ANTONY KASTRINAKIS
AC MIlan 1 Genoa 1
Published: Today
DAVID BECKHAM produced his greatest game in years to wow Fabio Capello.
And now the midfield ace must decide this week whether to stay on at AC Milan or return to LA Galaxy and the Mickey Mouse football of the MLS.
Beckham, 33, swung home a sensational free-kick in the San Siro to cap an all-action display reminiscent of THAT heroic performance against Greece back in 2001.
England boss Capello must have been impressed in the stands and will surely recall Becks for next month’s friendly with Spain.
Afterwards, Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed it is entirely down to Becks over where his future lies.
Ancelotti said: 揂t this moment he’s a Milan player.
揃ut we don’t know if David wants to stay at AC Milan. It’s not a case of Milan or LA Galaxy. It depends entirely on what David wants to do.
揃eckham must have convinced Capello not only tonight but in all four games he has played. He’s been really good.?
Becks opened the scoring on 33 minutes, with a stunning free-kick from a tight angle.
Having pulled the strings in midfield, he limped off on 70 minutes to a standing ovation.
Genoa’s Diego Milito levelled late to dampen Becks’ night.
Beckham said: 揟o score a goal for Milan at the San Siro made me very happy. But it was more important that we win.?

good point: he can perform here and provides FK options.
bad point: keeping Flamini out of the squad
but Galaxy is adamant to keep him, so i doubt he will remain. ultimately its up to him.

The league and pace suits him, he's well-loved and appreciated by his team-mates, he wants his England place back, what better way to stay and play for another 2 years at Milan at the highest level? Hope he sorts it out with Galaxy.
