hi guys...

wanna check with u all if u guys have even tried guesthouse or budget hotel or even hostel in bangkok?
will be going on a backpack trip around SEasia region...so wanna see if i can save some bucks here by not staying in expensive hotels....

but even if low budget....at least at night can sleep comfortable one..without bedbugs and ahve a clean bed...
if near to MBK or other nearby shopping and BTS or MRT station one would be an added bonus!! :D

any recommendation??

try hostelworld.com

many cheap rooms at kaosan as well,(200bht onwards) esp gd if you are arriving late. I managed to get a room at 4am once!

but down side is no skytrain or bts

soi kasem opposite MBK is full of cheapo guesthouse..

try White lodge along it..

Spatan but doable rooms and beds...
600baht or maybe less if I recall...

I stayed there for my first lone backpacking trip...

For other provinces in Thailand(70+ of those) you can ask here...

I been around the place in mid, mid south, mid central, issan, sakrew etc...

I only stayed in Cheapo guesthouse... you can ask and I see if I know of any... :)
