Hi,

Im using the motorala surfboard given by starhub and recently, went to collect the free dir615 and hook it up.

Apparently, signal is really weak and there isn't any walls blocking it or what, just in a room itself. Sometime, its intermittent.

The PC that the dir615 router is connected to is set to full duplex and i wonder if this has any interference on the strength of wireless signal it's suppose to emit.

Please advice, thanks!!! :)

Did you create a unique SSID, set up a strong password and select a less crowded channel?

Most wireless routers defaulted to ch6, so ch6 is always crowded in every wifi neighborhood. make sure your wifi adapter is with an updated driver too.

Proper positioning of both the access point and client is your best bet.
