hi all,i'm on 10mbps but when i use utorrent 1.8.2,the seed got 15 and under my download speed is 20.2kB/s and upload is 64.8kB/s.why am i getting such a suc* speed?under utorrent option and speed guide and my current port is 45582 and when i click the test if port is forwarded properly, this is the message i get "Checking port 45582 on 121.7.157.236...
Error! Port 45582 does not appear to be open"
and when i run the speedtest , i get download 6864kbps and upload is 356kbps.
anyone can advise me what should i do to speed up the speed?

probably your torrents have very kiam siap seeders, nothing to do with your subscribed speed.

u only need to key in ur internal ip address of your PC.
meaning for example.. ur uTorrent set port 33333. your router should set ur port @ 33333... and then internal ip of your current PC.
why do u need to key in ur DNS ip? i don't get it.

Setting up Static IP Address doesn't mean port forwarding.
So did you set the correct port in utorrent and particularly your router?

Sometimes, the yellow icon does not means that it is not port forwarded properly. If you want to check whether the port is open or not, simply click on the "Yellow Triangle" and click on the "Test if port forwarded correctly" button.
Another alternative is, go to Open Port Check Tool (http://www.canyouseeme.org/) to check your port.

Nothing much you can do about the speeds if your seeder limit their upload speed very tightly...
More seeders do not necessary mean faster speed...
I can easily hit 1000+kB/s if the seeder not kiam siap... Eg: 3 seeders uploading at 300+kB/s each...
So just hope you can connect to godly seeder when you start torrenting...
And remember to seed back :s13:
