ok,this is a long story. this problem has been bugging me for a full 1 year.
ok, initially, my msn was working just fine. However, singnet came up with this enhanced filtering thing that requires you to have a username and password everytime you open the internet explorer program. Once this happened, i could not access windows live messenger anymore.
The error code 80048820 came up whenever i tried to sign in. naturally, i searched for this error code online and a pile of solutions came up. i tried all of em but they didnt work. On particular solution came to my attention, which was the on where you uncheck the "use proxy server for your LAN" in the connections tab of internet options and check the box automatically detect settings. Whenever i checked the box use proxy server for LAN, my internet would not work at all. I would try to go to some andom webpage but it would not load. however, when i switched it back to use proxy server, the internet would work.

its probably all because of the damned enhanced filtering thing singnet implemented. this has been bugging me for a year now and im getting fed up.any ideas? help is greatly appreciated
