After I open a new tab, or a new window for the IE7, and then closing it when I am done with one of the tabs, IE7 stops responding. I tried waiting, but it never came back. So the only way is to use our favorite Ctrl, Alt, Del buttons. Sometimes this does not happen when I am lucky. But once it starts, it always will hang when I close a tab or IE window. Only the IE itself hangs.

I always had this problem and no matter what I do to the IE7, resetting everything, it still acts the same! The problem is only solved by reformatting and installing WinXP again. Then after a few months, the same thing happens again. It happened on SP1, SP2 and also SP3 versions of the WinXP Pro...

Anyone solved this problem before? I even tried registry fix but the same thing still happens.

It doesn't matter what website. But I did some searching around the net. Some people says that this will happen if you installed IE7 first, then install a service pack... Don't know how true this is.... The solution, install service packs first, then install IE7.
